1. What level of Russian should I have to participate in the program?

In Petrozavodsk you may easily join the group of your level, it doesn’t matter if you are a complete beginner or B1. Each course is structured according to the participants’ abilities and wishes. In order to understand your level, you can take a short test. Then we choose for you the most suitable group
To join the Baikal trip from 2 to 14 September one should have at least A2 level. The thing is that this program is supposed to expand your Russian vocabulary in real-life practice, so you basically have no time to start it from scratch.

2. How does the place look like?

Petrozavodsk is a small town in the Russian North. It’s located in one of the most beautiful Russian regions, Karelia (also known as the land of forests and lakes). Its population is about 270 000. A city itself is perfect for staying close to nature: lake Onega, many islands including world-famous Kizhi, natural parks, forests. At the same time, there are many places and activities not to get bored. Cafes, theaters, shopping centers, gyms, stadiums, etc.

As for the Baikal trip, participants will have classes and cultural activities in many places: Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Olkhon. Each venue is extremely comfortable to stay in and to observe real Russia. It’s more like an outdoor adventure than just having daily classes indoors.

3. What about the price?

1-week Russian course in Petrozavodsk will cost you 160 euro (including Russian homestay). As for the Baikal trip (14 days), the full price of the program is 2400 euro. It includes 34 Russian lessons, accommodation, meals (3 times per day) and all cultural activities.
